Creative and passionate; Kat carefully shapes and removes weight carefully to achieve balanced style with attention to detail. She is mindful to create a hairstyle that is thoughtful of your hair type and personality. She founded One On One Salon 10+ years ago in 2014 to provide a luxury atmosphere for her clients and friends. She has trained with NWSHC, Sassoon Academy in Boston and she has been instructed by numerous top stylists in the hairdressing community. Inspired by nature her cutting and coloring style tends to be natural, blended, and balanced. Kat wants to make her clients happy and will often use photos to confirm her clients descriptions. She prefers to let the client steer the appointment to some degree because she believes the client knows their hair best and they are the one wearing it. Committed to a lifetime of learning and inspiration, her mission is to carry organic, eco conscious, sustainable, cruelty free, gluten free products that are safe and gentle on your hair, scalp and environment. She personally selected each product because of their safe ingredients and their commitment to sustainability. One On One Salon is a reflection of her passion to offer non toxic services and give back to stylists. Kat welcomes stylists to build their clientele here until they are ready to run their own business independently within our walls. Kat hopes to contribute to many successful haircuts and careers throughout the salon's lifetime. We are proud to provide a revamped framework for modern stylists throughout their career. Megan is our salon manager, senior hair stylist and makeup artist. She is celebrating her 6th year on our salon team. She began her professional hairdressing career with us in 2020 as an intern and assistant. She is a compassionate intuitive artist with an innate ability to connect with anyone. She has a natural talent for making people feel more beautiful. Megan has a great ability to cater to her clients and listen to their needs when they're in the chair. She began her career in 2019 at Ulster Boces and has trained under Kevin Murphy as an eco conscious colorist and under Ryan Weeden's Masters of Balayage Program. She specializes in cutting, eco conscious coloring, bridal hairstyling and bridal makeup design. Her passion is contagious and she hopes you will leave smiling! We believe Megan will give you the time you need and deserve while winning you over with her conversation and friendly personality. Her skill set includes hair cutting for men, women and children, hair coloring which includes highlighting, balayage, teasy-lights, and nourishing treatments to smooth and refine your hair.

Erik formally began his career in New York City in 2006, training under visionary hairdresser Edris Nicholls at her quintessential multicultural Edris salon. Working there he learned to fully embrace all types of hair from people coming from all walks of life. Working with hair was a natural journey to embark on as Erik grew up with a passion for design and working with his hands. From a very young age he was inspired by architecture and always wanted to be creating. Erik is always looking to further his knowledge and has done training with Sassoon, Bumble & Bumble, R+Co’s razor-cutting pioneer Howard McLaren, has worked behind the scenes at New York’s fashion week and various high fashion shoots, and has also had extensive training working with curly hair. Erik loves that everyday in the salon can bring something different, and specializes in cuts of all types, from straight to wavy to coily hair. He also loves the freestyle approach of doing hand painted balayage highlights. Beyond hair, Erik loves to continue creating in the form of growing his skills in doing home renovations, playing bass guitar, photography and mixology. He is also an avid biker, wakeboarder and snowboarder. If you need a stylist to listen to your needs and bring beautiful new life to your hair, Erik is a great stylist for you.

Leatrice, or Lea, is a hair stylist and makeup artist who left her home of the Hudson Valley to pursue her makeup artistry career, only to return years later, to her hometown of Rhinebeck, to raise her twin girls! She attended school for art and photography and later attended the Paul Mitchell Academy in Danbury, CT and received her cosmetology license in 2008. Lea grew up on a farm enjoying the countryside and the beauty & wildness of nature all around her. She has always been an artist, creating sculptures and exploring negative space and shape. She moved to Chicago and worked for 10 years on productions and continues doing both hair and makeup in the HV, NYC and Chicago. She has worked in film, commercial shoots, photography, wigs, cut & color. Her lens focused on bridal hair and makeup while she worked full time for a bridal company in Chicago. She has a busy life, chasing twins, and a lot of passion for the beauty industry! Once you sit in her chair you will be a friend for life!

Born and raised locally in Hyde Park, Becca is passionate about hair and has been for as long as she can remember. Her career began as a bridal assistant and bridal hair became a primary passion alongside her love for hair color. She’s been creating beautiful bridal styles for five years. When she’s not behind the chair, she’s with her two rescue kittens or reading her favorite thriller/ mystery book. A self proclaimed foodie, Becca will make sure to recommend the best local eateries! Emma is a licensed esthetician, skincare specialist, and skin first makeup artist dedicated to creating radiant, polished results through a thoughtful, personalized approach. She graduated from Capri Cosmetology Learning Center in 2021 and has since focused her career on results driven skincare, waxing specialization, and soft, modern makeup artistry tailored to each client. Emma has experience working with both intimate and large wedding parties across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. From bridal mornings to on set and special event work, she is known for curating timeless makeup that enhances natural features while feeling elevated and effortless. Her calm presence and attention to detail create a seamless experience from skin prep to final touches. With a strong foundation in acne conscious and barrier supportive skincare, Emma prioritizes gentle, effective formulas and customized techniques designed for real skin. Emma believes that getting your makeup done should be a personal, relaxing experience you get to truly enjoy. She views glam as a moment to slow down, feel taken care of, and connect with a look that feels authentically beautiful and uniquely yours.
