Megan is our manager, hair stylist and makeup artist. She began her professional hairdressing career with us in 2020 as an intern and assistant. She is a warm and loving human with an innate ability to connect with anyone. She has a natural talent for making people feel more beautiful. Megan has a great ability to cater to her clients and listen to their needs when they're in the chair. She began her career in 2019 at Ulster Boces and has trained under Kevin Murphy as an eco conscious colorist and under Ryan Weeden's Masters of Balayage Program. She specializes in cutting, eco conscious coloring, bridal hairstyling and bridal makeup design. Her passion is contagious and she hopes you will leave smiling! We believe Megan will give you the time you need and deserve while winning you over with her conversation and friendly personality. Her skill set includes hair cutting for men, women and children, hair coloring which includes highlighting, balayage, teasy-lights, and nourishing treatments to smooth and refine your hair.

Creative and passionate; Kat carefully shapes and removes weight carefully to achieve balanced style with attention to detail. She is mindful to create a hairstyle that is thoughtful of your hair type and personality. She founded One On One Salon 10 years ago in 2014 to provide a luxury atmosphere for her clients and friends. She has trained with NWSHC, Sassoon Academy in Boston and she has been instructed by numerous top stylists esteemed by those in the hairdressing community. Inspired by nature her cutting and coloring style tends to be natural, blended, and balanced. Kat wants to make her clients happy and will often use photos to confirm her clients descriptions. She prefers to let the client steer the appointment to some degree because she believes the client knows their hair best and they are the one presenting it to the world. Committed to a lifetime of learning and inspiration, her mission is to carry eco conscious, sustainable, cruelty free, gluten free products that are safe and gentle on your hair, scalp and environment. She chose each product because of their safe ingredients and commitment to sustainability. She is passionate about carrying non-toxic, gluten free, cruelty free products. One On One Salon is a reflection of her passion to support COMMUNITY AND STYLISTS. Pioneering an unconventional approach to building a salon team; Kat welcomes stylists to build their clientele with her help and when stylists are well established and looking to take the next step in their career, she welcomes them to stay and operate independently within our walls. Kat hopes to contribute to many successful haircuts and careers throughout the salon's lifetime. We are proud to provide a revamped framework for modern growing stylists. A faithful update to a tried and true business model, supporting stylists throughout their career, creating lifelong relationships, creating art, fostering connection and community.

Erik formally began his career in New York City in 2006, training under visionary hairdresser Edris Nicholls at her quintessential multicultural Edris salon. Working there he learned to fully embrace all types of hair from people coming from all walks of life. Working with hair was a natural journey to embark on as Erik grew up with a passion for design and working with his hands. From a very young age he was inspired by architecture and always wanted to be creating. Erik is always looking to further his knowledge and has done training with Sassoon, Bumble & Bumble, R+Co’s razor-cutting pioneer Howard McLaren, has worked behind the scenes at New York’s fashion week and various high fashion shoots, and has also had extensive training working with curly hair. Erik loves that everyday in the salon can bring something different, and specializes in cuts of all types, from straight to wavy to coily hair. He also loves the freestyle approach of doing hand painted balayage highlights. Beyond hair, Erik loves to continue creating in the form of growing his skills in doing home renovations, playing bass guitar, photography and mixology. He is also an avid biker, wakeboarder and snowboarder. If you need a stylist to listen to your needs and bring beautiful new life to your hair, Erik is a great stylist for you.

Rosemarie Haines is a Hudson Valley native, hair stylist and assistant.
She is the past owner and stylist of Dazzles Salon & Day Spa, Fishkill, and Dazzles Salon Outpost, Wappingers Falls. The locations merged and then closed after Covid. Dazzles Salon & Day Spa was humbled to be recognized 3x’s as one of “The Salon Today 200” award recipients, given yearly to America’s top 200 salons nationwide. Both locations earned claim to Goldwell Ambassador Salons and Paul Mitchell Signature Salons status achieved through education and dedication to the visions and philosophy of said brands.
As a stylist she explored many avenues of continuing education. One being The London Goldwell Academy, that instilled the philosophy that every head of hair is a blank canvas, an chance to create art. From conservative to creative, every color or cut is a reflection of the creator. It is imperative to continue to gain first-hand inspiration and implode your principles of art and design into unique fashion-forward styles.
Rose started working at One on One while assisting Kat and at times she will be filling in for her on Mondays as an independent stylist.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, beach time or gazing at the Hudson River.

Simone started her studies at the Toni & Guy Hair Academy in Santa Monica, California in 2011. Her passion for hair cutting & coloring blossomed as she explored & pursued the innovative world of hair. Simone began her career training as a colorist in New York City at Ion Studio & continued her training at The Chris McMillan Salon in Beverly Hills where she eventually started building her clientele. She continued working in Los Angeles as a salon stylist & colorist until making the move back east in 2020. She gains inspiration from art, music, fashion, & all of the wonderful people she gets to work with every day. As an artist herself, she enjoys creating & designing not only with hair cutting & coloring, but also outside of the salon, submerging herself in various types of hobbies from welding & woodworking to sewing & song making. Simone attends numerous continuing hair education classes & loves to broaden her knowledge about the latest hair techniques & styles. She loves to create tailored made hair for each client. Every hair cut & hair color is different from person to person. Personalizing each client's hair to enhance their look while maintaining the integrity of the hair is her number one goal. She specializes in both cut & color in women & men. She loves to provide an amazing salon experience & looks forward to establishing those relationships with her clients!

Leatrice, or Lea, is a hair stylist and makeup artist who left her home of the Hudson Valley to pursue her makeup artistry career, only to return years later, to her hometown of Rhinebeck, to raise her twin girls! She attended school for art and photography and later attended the Paul Mitchell Academy in Danbury, CT and received her cosmetology license in 2008. Lea grew up on a farm enjoying the countryside and the beauty & wildness of nature all around her. She has always been an artist, creating sculptures and exploring negative space and shape. She moved to Chicago and worked for 10 years on productions and continues doing both hair and makeup in the HV, NYC and Chicago. She has worked in film, commercial shoots, photography, wigs, cut & color. Her lens focused on bridal hair and makeup while she worked full time for a bridal company in Chicago. She has a busy life, chasing twins, and a lot of passion for the beauty industry! Once you sit in her chair you will be a friend for life!

Mariza is an independent makeup artist who has been in the beauty industry for 15 years, with a focus on makeup artistry and product training. Mariza is a highly trained and passionate makeup artist with a diverse range of experience from brides to film. With a background working for renowned beauty brands such as RMS, Laura Mercier, and Chanel, she has honed her craft and developed an exceptional eye for detail.
Specializing in bridal makeup, she understands the importance of making brides feel confident and radiant on their special day. With a deep understanding of different skin tones, textures, and individual preferences, she creates customized looks that enhance each bride's natural beauty. Whether it's a soft and romantic look or a bold and glamorous style, Mariza ensures that every bride feels like the best version of themselves. Her goal is to put her clients at ease, making the makeup application process a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
